Canal Boat Day Hire

Self-drive narrowboat day and evening hire on the Grand Union Canal from Apsley Marina, Hemel Hempstead. Our narrowboat, Tilly, takes up to 10 people. No licence or previous boating experience is needed. Every hire includes a full safety briefing, a boat handling demonstration and support through the first lock, and a skipper can be added if wanted. Day hire runs all year, and evening hire runs from 1 May to 31 August.
